Le Pich | 2014 | Cabernet Sauvignon | While the price of Napa Cabernet continues to soar over the years, there has been a continuous struggle to find some good value Napa Cab, and this is where Le Pich comes in. Notes of blackberries, black cherries, blue florals, mocha, chocolate, warm baking spice, raspberries, and toasty oak. Ripe dark fruit on the palate that is lifted by a hint of tartness in the mid makes for a rather enjoyable mouthfeel. Tannins are rather smooth which makes for easy drinking, and the wine isn’t cloy on your palate so enjoying more than a glass is perfectly fine. Not super complex but a definite crowd pleaser and great value. Enjoy over the next 5-7 years. | 93 points | $55 |
