Hill Country Poker We are a bar poker league that services poker players in the Texas Hill Country area.

The Hill Country Poker League is a Texas Hill Country social club that promotes the playing and complete legalization of poker in the State of Texas. Additionally, the League seeks to teach poker to its members and promote proper play and adherence to official published rules of play, behavior, and etiquette. Membership is open but subject to the approval of the League Owners or Directors.

They are located in Bulverde. Obviously, smoking is permitted.

We have a new supplier for the silver coins that are given to Quarterly Tournament winners. The old source went out of business because of the pandemic.

Jordan Marcum, owner of Bandera Jewelers, will be making them for us in the future. I am very pleased to be giving that business to one of our local players.

Jordan is putting together pricing information so any of our players can have one made from a variety of options, including the metal that is used, for instance, silver or stainless steel.

Our Story

The Hill Country Poker League is a Texas Hill Country social club that promotes the playing and complete legalization of poker in the State of Texas. The League seeks to teach poker to its members and promote proper play and adherence to official published rules of play, behavior, and etiquette.

Our players have donated, conservatively, over $30,000 to charities, organizations, and individuals-in-need since our first tournament on August 28, 2007.

Our tournaments include No Limit Texas Hold’Em, Pot Limit Omaha, and Pot Limit Congress. Our tournaments are run based on:
