Wade Van Gilder benefit Join us Oct. 13 for a Bean Bag Tourney and Silent Auction at the Tavern on the Avenue in St. Paul to help support Cowboy as he recovers from a stroke. Paul.

Wade Van Gilder suffered a stroke this spring and is recovering. he is unable to work and needs assistance in paying for living expenses and medical costs as well as keeping up with child support payments for his three boys. Wade would never ask for help, but we are going to give it to him anyway! Please make a donation, or better yet, please get a team together for our Bean Bag Tournament on oct.

Just wanted to pass this along. Keep Wade in your thoughts and prayers!

Please pray for my son Wade once again. I got a call from the emergency room about 3:45 this morning that they had brought him in by ambulance and thought he had a reaction to a pain med. However instead he has blood clots in both lungs, heart and several in his stroke leg. He is stable now but they will not move him to Sioux Falls as it is too risky. This time he dodged a big bullet. I told him he is like a cat with 9 lives and that there is a reason for him to still be here.

We would like to thank everyone who made it out on Saturday to help us support Wade! We would especially like to thank Wade and his family for making the trip from Watertown. We ended up with 30 teams, 10 short of our goal. We raised $8,600! Our goal was $10,000, but you can't put a price on seeing old friends and former teammates. Congratulations to Trenton Hyland and Matt Olson, the champions of the bean bag tournament. We also had a 7 sighting. Good to see coach Boyer again! We would also like to thank those that came out who did not know Wade prior to Saturday. It is all of you that made Saturday a success and we can't thank you enough! We would also like to thank those that donated items to the tournament, silent auction and raffle. I think anyone who was there would tell you that we had some fantastic prizes!
