Sadly, one of our own and her family were victims of the tornado a few weeks back. WASFAA’s 2025 New Member Award winner, Laura Zuege, has been passionate about her work with WASFAA and now we have a chance to return the favor!

So if you can, consider donating to her family’s recovery efforts.

Laura and Todd’s house was hit by a tornado this week. Luckily, everyone is safe because no one was home at the time of the tornado, but their house was badly damaged. They lost the roof and most of one exterior wall, along with most windows, the garage, shed, patio, and swingset. They’ll be out...

Casey Lehmann, financial aid manager at Nicolet College, has been appointed to serve as a Public Member of the Legislative Council Study Committee on State Veterans' Benefits.

Some of WASFAA made its way east for this year’s NASFAA 60th Anniversary Conference in National Harbor, MD.

We hosted a happy hour, trivia team “Get that Cheddar,” hot 🥵 walk for lunch and lobster rolls, and shared airport rides.

Lots of learning and sharing and getting through another wild ride together - we’re ready to fight forward!!
