What we thought was the first major hurdle, wasn't that bad at all... We knew we would have to break open the slab again...

What we thought was the first major hurdle, wasn't that bad at all... We knew we would have to break open the slab again, in order to place the drain fl**ge below the surface. Well after preparing to rent and $85 per day Con-saw, a friend suggested doing it by hand to save the money...
So after a full day of fearing the work, and stressing possibly cracking the pvc and having to replace the entire line, it started... I straight-up prayed continually from start to finish, asking the Lord to "Help me please. Make this quick. Make it easy", and it flew by... Literally... 12 minutes after we started, we were finished...
Thank you Jesus for your comfort and assistance!

Long time no post, but this one was a must...

Came home today to find that Aimee and Rebekah (with some help from the in-laws) had scrubbed and washed the entire house, as well as painted the shutters. This place is sparkly clean now...

Next job, painting the front door!!

UPDATE:
There is still a lot left to do before the house is completely done, but it is a far cry from where it begin. Thanks to all of the amazing help that we have received from our Friends and family alike, our new home is making progress. With our one year anniversary quickly approaching, and our little one soon to follow, there is an unlimited amount of blessings to be thankful for.
We move in this week, and will continue to make this house our home!! Still plenty of demo, construction and painting to get done, but we can't wait to see what the future holds for us!!

Duane getting it in.... Installing the ceiling fan in the Nursery (to-be), and the vents throughout the house.
I have some pretty awesome outlaws!!
I mean in-laws.....

Plus, the ceiling work is looking good too!! Ol' boy Stafford can put up some plaster.....
