DNO helps to demonstrate the social and financial benefits of partnering with Deaf businesses and be viewed as Deaf-friendly. For a great DNO experience, Carolina advocates by requesting local businesses to

support the Deaf community such as providing discounted/free entry to the events, offering food/drink specials, giving out merchandise, hiring deaf-friendly entertainers, creating VIP experience, and more. As the Roc DNO's promoter & community advocate, Carolina has devoted many hours in producing/promoting events, coordinating volunteers, or consulting on accessibility.
