Last week turned out to be one glorious week in so many ways BIG and (blumen) small - some deco for an outdoor wedding, an unexpected (for the season) outdoor instead virtual workshop, flower and DIYkits deliveries -simply blissful!

The last defiant summer blossoms - Passion flower vine which still has so many buds in spite of scary signs of early winter 🥶. I sadly can’t postpone the transfer to its winter quarter any longer but will try to untangle and salvage as many branches as possible - they look fabulous in arrangements!

I always feel particularly lucky (and delighted) when the recipient of an order is a dear friend whose preferences I know and share. An “organic feel” combined with the classic beauty of roses big and small - totally down my blumen alley 😊

While all shades of orange/red are associated with fall colors - there is a lot more subtle beauty to be found. Some of my fav accents are smokebush , spirea, sedum and oat grass from my garden .... very easy to plant! 😊
