5 fabulous days of learning!

Please meet Fiasco the Raccoon, the newest Chaudhuri Studios addition.

While I still have more work to do on him, I could not be prouder of making it this far with the help from Betsy Habich Quilts. Kind, infinitely patient, and gave me all the permission I needed to mess it up and try again. New love of thread painting and collage images has me thinking of 10000 new projects 🥰

Thrilled to have connected back up with Pride & Joy Quilting and hang out with Amanda Jean Dash in beautiful Asilomar. Thank you Empty Spools Seminars for another wonderful trip!!

February was creating a little gift for my upcoming class trip to Asilomar. It's a wonderful tradition of bringing a small item for your classmates to share how excited you are for the class and meeting them. A lot of fun teaching myself rivets, grommets, and KAM snaps and PERFECT size for class notes!

Quarterly check in!!

I've been pretty swamped at the 9 to 5 job as well as working on a few client projects. Not ready to share the client projects *just* yet, but check out my January scrap buster challenge! This string quilt is now a coveted item in the Chaudhuri household by all members for its cozy, cuddly minky backing and heavy weight.

-30 amazing, challenging, and wonderful client projects this year ranging from memory quilts to embroidery to surgical scrub caps.
-8 baby quilts for friends and family
-7 reading pillows for birthday besties
-4 exciting craft shows that fill me up for the holiday season
-3 new quilts for sale or share
-1 new foundation paper peiced wall hanging that I nearly chucked into the shredder at least 3 times but did complete!

This all adds up to one incredibly thankful Janet. If you thought about, supported, stopped by, purchased, helped load or unload, told me about a sale, gave me your opinion at 10pm via messenger about color choices...heck- even just said "wow- that looks great"- THANK YOU! That's what keeps me going 🥰

Had the best time at the craft show this weekend chatting with community members and sharing my art. My next and final show of the seasons will be at St. Davids in Richmond December 8th!

I look forward to this show every year for the energy boost I need for the holiday season. Hope to see you there!
