What a day!!! I think this year was the best yet! ♥️⛵️

Huge thank you to Tom & the Rhinebeck Aerodrome which sent - I think 8 planes? to do a flyover. It was truly amazing!!!

Captain Jerome of Tivoli Sailing Co is offering two 1 hour 45 min sails from Rockin' on the River tomorrow. It's a 6 person sailboat, $50 per person. 3pm-4:45 and 5pm-6:45 time slots available, if anyone is interested! Book directly with him at 845-901-2697!!

We are so happy to have members of the Sloop Clearwater joining us at Rockin' on the River this year. What a cool organization!

If you have joined us on a Clearwater sail, you’ll remember the Program Coordinator calling your attention to participate in a special moment of silence to remind us why we are able to enjoy the river together today.

It is key that we continue this tradition to remind ourselves and our passengers how far the river has come, why we should continue to take care of it, and how we use the tools that we have to make our communities a better place.

⛵️ 20 more days until Rockin’ on the River & we can’t wait!

We are excited to have a shuttle this year to ease potential parking shortages in the long term Amtrak parking lot. The shuttle will run from 3pm-9pm from the Rhinebeck Highway Dept on Rhinecliff Rd, where there is a large parking lot, down to the Rhinecliff Waterfront area. Shuttle pick up & drop off spots will be clearly marked with signs.

⛵️We are so excited that Tivoli Sailing Co will be hangin’ with us at Rockin’ on the River this year! They’ll be providing short sails again & filling us in on what they’ve been up to. Details to come! 🌊

Due to the rise in Covid cases and increased hospitalizations in Dutchess County, and after careful consideration, the 2021 Rockin’ on the River event has been canceled in the interest of public safety.

Thank you to the Rhinebeck Rec Committee for their work on this. Thank you to the Town of Rhinebeck and the Highway Dept.
