This is the entrance to Iron Horse Winery, Forestville, CA in the Sonoma Valley. This was a really great stop. Martha and I tasted almost all sparkling with a beautiful vista of the valley.

This is a microgreens business in Sebastopol, CA. Locally owned and organically grown by high school friends. It's amazing how just sprouts taste so much like the grown plant and vegetables. Their clients are mostly very high end restaurants.

I committed to making a Blood Orange Vinaigrette this weekend for a party. I shopped to no success for blood oranges or blood orange juice. I found red orange juice? too much sugar and other stuff. So I grabbed Ciao Bella Blood Orange Sorbet, thawed it, added veggie oil, a little EVOO, salt, pepper, granulated garlic(fresh is best, but be careful), a squeeze of lemon and a littel dried thyme. Shaken not stirred to emulsify in a jar. Quick and easy repurposing a summer chill snack.
