Our newest Burgundy has arrived, and we thought we’d introduce it to the neighbors.
Benjamin Leroux Gevrey-Chambertin 2023 joins a pretty remarkable little stretch of our Burgundy shelves. Start just north of Gevrey with Louis Latour Marsannay, then move into Gevrey itself with the new Leroux—and keep climbing to Faiveley Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru and Drouhin Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru.
Four Pinot Noirs from one small corner of the Côte de Nuits. One is under $40. One is ultra luxury in the "many hundreds" realm. And the new guy lands rather nicely in between at a little over one hundred.
Burgundy can get complicated fast. Sometimes it’s more fun just to put a few bottles next to each other and see what all the fuss is about.
Come explore Gevrey with us.
