I’m a level 33 human “clack-smith,” laser-cutting crafter, and puzzle artificer. Grandma was a teacher at the school I attended so every day after class, I was treated to all the brainteasers my heart desired. Playing with a tangram or pentomino set still takes me back to those cherished, formative years. Flash forward to 2016: I took my passion for puzzles, several years
of hospitality work experience, and a business degree in entrepreneurship, and opened an escape room, “The Seventh Room,” in Austin, Texas. It brought such joy to watch people solve my puzzles as they enjoyed a night out with family and friends. From The Seventh Room, I moved on to working as a product developer for Project Genius, where I reignited my love for mechanical puzzles and brainteasers. I had the unique opportunity to develop logic puzzles like Chroma Cube, and strategy games like Deblockle, both of which received awards and distribution in major retailers such as Barnes & Noble. This year, in 2021, I’m jumping into my next adventure - Loot EVERYTHING! A friend of mine introduced me to the cathartic world of Dungeons and Dragons about two years ago, and this shop is the consequence of that new obsession.
