We Will Always Love You, Dolly. 💖

Dolly had a remarkable way of bringing people together, and right now, being together feels like exactly where we’re supposed to be.

We can think of no better way to honor her than to come together and carry a little of that love and magic forward.

Please join us TONIGHT, Friday, August 28 at 4:30 PM in the Ankeny Alley Plaza in the Pink Light District.

To live by the gospel according to Dolly: “Love who ya wanna love, be who ya wanna be, and leave the world with a little more sparkle than you found it.” ✨

We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of the incomparable Dolly Parton.
When we created DOLLY, we wanted to celebrate the joy, hope, humor, heart, glamour and unmistakable spirit that Dolly has brought into the world for generations.
We truly never imagined we would be performing this show in a world without her in it.
Her light, music and extraordinary ability to lead with love and kindness will live on forever. May her radiant light continue to shine upon us all and inspire us to live with the spirit of Dolly in our hearts.

A little piece of our Portland history. 🚬💃🏼
Long before we opened our Can Can doors here, our family had roots in this neighborhood.
This is the front window of the cigar shop owned by Fae Phalen Pink’s great-grandfather, located in the historic Dekum Building on SW 3rd Avenue… just down the street from the Paris Theater. It feels pretty special to be carrying on a Portland story generations later. ✨

Cheers to Portland. Old and new. 🥂
