Some days just come together in a way you could never plan.

The sun was shining, the breeze was just right, and from the first notes of music to the last conversations on the sidewalks, Port Austin was filled with joy. Porches became stages. Streets became gathering places. Strangers became friends, if only for an afternoon. There was laughter, dancing, children playing, lawn chairs lining the sidewalks, and music drifting through the neighborhood.

None of it would have been possible without the incredible musicians who so generously gave their time and talent. Their willingness to share their gifts is what transforms an ordinary Saturday into something our community looks forward to year after year.

These photos offer a glimpse of the event and energy of Porch Fest XI, but they can only tell part of the story. The real magic was being there.

Thank you to everyone who performed, hosted, volunteered, and joined us for another unforgettable Porch Fest.

Welcome back to one of our favorites, Nicholas James Thomasma! He is a singer-songwriter who pairs stories and songs with humor and wit for a show that's genuinely enjoyable for all ages. He's also one of the organizers behind HuCo Songs, the songwriting retreat weekend held right here in Port Austin each September. A Porch Fest mainstay with a set you'll be humming on the drive home.
