Everyone mark your calendars, drag out the lederhosen and dirndls, and start stretching your stein-holders, because OKTOBERFEST IS UPON US!

September 26th, from open to close, we will be hosting our FIFTH annual Oktoberfest Celebration! With cigar and drink specials aplenty, fun games and a good old-fashioned Kill-The-Keg contest, you wont lack for the Spirit of Deutschland in downtown!

As always we'll have our friends from TK's Cheat Day parked on site with fresh, authentic German food to pair with the authentic German beer from the oldest brewery in the world: Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan

So bring your thirst, bring your appetites, and lets all get ready for the party of the year!

LOCKER MEMBER SPOTLIGHT | CORY

Born and raised just outside Meridian, Mississippi, Cory’s journey has taken him around the world. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he continued his career with the Department of Defense and later spent eight years working overseas in Southwest Asia. This transition later led to him finding a career in the nuclear field, and now he works in the renewable energy sector. Though maintaining residency in Georgia, his current work has brought him to Florida.

His appreciation for bourbon began after returning stateside and becoming a partner in a liquor store, where he discovered a passion for smaller, boutique distilleries. His recommendation for anyone new to bourbon? Woodford Reserve—the bottle that started it all for him.

His love for ci**rs began overseas with Cuban ci**rs, sparking a passion that has followed him ever since.

And when it comes to Bruton’s, it’s about more than the cigar.

“I love the company, fellowship, and intimate, welcoming atmosphere. From the first day, I was warmly invited in, and it’s a place I can truly call my second home.”

Have you ever wondered what truly sets apart straight whiskeys from their cask-finished counterparts? Well, this is the tasting for you!
With a carefully curated selection of outstanding Scotch, Irish, and Bourbon whiskies, all of which are specifically finished in former sherry casks, we at Bruton's will awaken your palates to the unique expressions and wonderful similarities!

Alongside this, we have a curated cigar pairing from our friends at Luciano Ci**rs, the Fiat Lux: a satin smooth Ecuadorian high-priming Sumatra, with notes of cream, coffee, subtle cedar, and a soft spice. This cigar will compliment the week's tasting wondrously!

Behind every great bourbon tasting is someone who’s passionate about sharing the experience.

Meet Danny Clavell - One of the Bruton's Bar Association's most magnanimous hosts. A retired military veteran who served our country for 23 years, Danny moved to Florida in 2023 and quickly found a second home here at Plant City's Oldest Cigar Bar.

His bourbon journey began with an invitation to a private whiskey tasting, where he discovered that bourbon is about much more than what’s in the glass—it’s about the stories, craftsmanship, and people behind every pour.

Today, his goal is simple: introduce people to new whiskeys, expand their palates, and create an experience they’ll remember.

When he’s relaxing with a cigar, you’ll usually find him enjoying a Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9 or a Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II—both rich, complex smokes that pair perfectly with a great pour of bourbon.

But ask him what keeps him coming back, and his answer is simple:

“The relationships and friendships being built are priceless.”

Setting a record as the first ever, and subsequently the oldest, Cigar Bar in Plant City's history, we've strived to provide excellent service, a comfortable lounge to get away, and a welcoming, filial environment that embraces all and provides myriad memories for those who seek good to***co, drink, and friendship!
