“A Cause for Art” project, Directed by Katherine Marshall and Tara Zalewsky-Nease (Assistant Director), curates art shows to benefit local charities. Artist and entrepreneur, Marshall founded this dynamic organization to link her love of art and desire to bring awareness to local charities. Her vision and the purpose of “A Cause for Art” is to host a series of art shows and benefit a different local charity at each event. Marshall’s ambition is to support local charities in our communities while at the same time showcasing the talent of our local artists. Marshall has teamed up with artist and teacher Zalewsky to rally the art and artists. This new project features local artists showcasing their work with a silent auction, wine, hors d’ oeuvres and music, with proceeds to benefit the charity selected.
