Well Greensboro, y’all did the thing again. 💜

Thank you to everyone who spent part of your Sunday upstairs with us supporting and her trip to the National Barista Championship! The coffee was flowing, the crochet hooks were flying, and the room was full of good humans!

Because of this incredible community, we were able to raise $630 to help support Stephanie on her journey 🥹 Every pour over, crochet lesson, donation, and encouraging word helped make that happen!

We say it all the time, but this community is the reason Chandler’s gets to be what it is. Thank you for continuing to show up for small businesses, local artists, and people chasing big dreams! We love you Greensboro💚

Some days owning a business means spreadsheets, stress, and wondering why the ice machine is making that noise😅

….. Other days it means getting to hand the keys upstairs to people you genuinely care about and believe in!

We had the best time hosting this weekend, and Greensboro is lucky to have Emily & Chase bringing their magic downtown. Watching good people chase big dreams never gets old!

We saw this piece by Margo at the Cultural Arts Center and immediately knew we wanted it here at Chandler’s on display!

So I texted her mom. 😂 This year was a wild one for our family. Phoenix switched schools, and somewhere along the way we got lucky enough to meet Margo and her family 🐉💜

We had no idea Keep It Green! would also be selected for Downtown Greensboro’s Signal Box Student Art Project. We just knew we loved it 🥹 Yesterday we finally got it on our wall, and it’s been hanging out downtown too.

Pretty cool for a 10-year-old. Pretty cool for Greensboro. 💚

If you’ve met Margo, this probably doesn’t surprise you. She’s bright, creative, kind, and boldly herself! 💁🏻‍♀️

Come celebrate Margo and the other student artists tonight at from 5–7 PM. One of my favorite things about Greensboro is watching kids create something beautiful and seeing our community show up for them❤️

🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Thank you for raising such a cool human. Margo is unapologetically herself, kind to everyone around her, and the type of kid who reminds adults what really matters.

Our very own Stephanie is headed to the National Barista Championship! ☕️🏆

To help get her there, we’re taking over the UPSTAIRS at Chandler’s on SUNDAY June 7th from 10am–3pm. Yes, the upstairs. 😜 However, 15% of sales downstairs (for the whole day) goes directly to her nationals fund! 💸

We’ll have pour overs, crochet lessons, coffee nerd things, and a few other surprises along the way! Whether you want to learn something new, support an incredible barista, or just hang out with good people, we’d love to see you ♥️

Stephanie was one of our very first hires, and watching her grow into a barista competing on a national stage is pretty damn cool. Come help us send her to Nationals in style. ♥️☕️🧶

College is out, parents are hanging on by a thread, and there are less than 2 weeks left of school. EOGs are dumb and I have thoughts, but that’s a post for another day 😜

Anyways, we’re slow AF tonight and teaches music to elementary school kids for a living while is somehow surviving grad school. So we’re closing at 8pm because sometimes the people taking care of everyone else need a minute too!

See y’all tomorrow. Be nice to a teacher, a parent, or a student….. they’re all fighting for their lives right now. ❤️
