Just wanted to pass along that dad, Tommy, passed away last week, June 1, at age 96. A private family funeral will be held in Portland on June 29.

Sorry for the late notice but today and tomorrow may be our last days for the sale at the restaurant. 1pm to 3 pm both days. Spread the late word. Buyer wants to close the sale in mid July.

I guess this letter from the City of Philomath's planning committee, it looks like they want the property to build a Dollar General.

Per the internet, despite their name, it is not another "Dollar" store. They are more of a Walmart for small towns. Although it does say that in recent years, they have branched out into being a supermarket too. If you have any concerns, please let the Philomath planning committee know that by 3/22/16.
