We would like to honor the life and legacy of Dito van Reigersberg, known and beloved by so many as Martha Graham Cracker.

Dito was more than a performer, he was a Philadelphia icon whose talent, creativity, and authenticity helped shape our city’s arts and LGBTQ+ communities. Through music, theater, drag, and storytelling, he brought people together and showed us all what it means to live boldly and create fearlessly.

This is a tremendous loss for Philadelphia. His impact on our community, our stages, and the countless lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Martha. Thank you for the joy, the laughter, the artistry, and the legacy you leave behind. ❤️

Some spaces exist simply to exist. Marsha’s South Street exists for you, a place where everyone is seen, welcomed, and free to be fully themselves. We are still growing, still becoming the community home this city deserves, and we are committed to getting it right. Our work continues, and our door is open.
