From hamburger hill, the Mekong Chu Lai , Ashaw valley, Plieku, D**g Ha, Khe Sahn , to the perfume river of Hue. From Beruit to countless "low intensity " conflicts Nicaragua El salvador Panamá and countless other little places
From the gulf war to Kosovo
From Baghdad, Ramadi , Fallujah to Kandahar, fallen soldiers Marines sailors and airmen. This memorial was bought and paid for by them. Not by political parties who stymied thier efforts. Put impossible r.o.e.'s to abide by. Every single military grave marker you see where the life span is from 17 to 60 is a consequence of a life cut short. Live the way they might have. No greater love has been shown to perfect strangers and future generations. SFMF
