What's going on this week?? I am glad you asked!! At VFW Post 5228, we have a full schedule for the next two weeks. Every Tuesday is Taco and Trivia Tuesday, Wednesday is Free Pool, Thursday is Steak Night and Tim O'Brien Jam Session, Friday is Karaoke, Saturday is NCAA Football Kickoff Week 1, we Open at Noon with a Fish Fry from 5pm-9pm and Open Mic/Karaoke from 9-1am. We also have the BBQ Challenge coming up on the following Saturday. IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!!

The VFW Post 5228 will be closed to the public from 1-4:30 pm on Sunday July 12 for Alabama VFW District V Meeting. The VFW will be open for only member that will be attending the meeting. Meeting starts at 2pm EST. We will resume normal business after the meeting has concluded.
