Heart of the Green Using the platform of golf, Heart of the Green will raise awareness to ultimately prevent unnecessary deaths from sudden cardiac arrest and heart attacks. How?

Heart of the Green was launched in January 2011 with a mission to raise the bar in the fight against heart disease, and founded on the idea that deaths caused by sudden cardiac arrests and heart attacks can be dramatically reduced. Our purpose is to empower golfers to take the lead in a community-wide program, raising awareness of the importance in having the proper tools and knowledge to be life

saving responders. This campaign will touch thousands of communities by reaching golf courses, where millions of men and women of all ages, all nationalities, with multiple career paths and in every demographic, visit every day of the year. Heart of the Green is bringing back the largest amateur golf tournament in the US, previously held by Oldsmobile for 25-years. The Heart of the Green National Golf Scramble Championship, that will take place annually on thousands of golf courses across the United States beginning on Friday, June 1, 2012. This event will be an event that golfers of every skill level can participate and enjoy.
