SLO Wine Trail This idea came about one afternoon while out wine tasting with my daughter so, David and I are out to have some fun enjoying our favorite hobby wine!

We love wine and enjoy visiting the amazing wineries right in our own backyard.

Tamara and I were out and about in SLO today and ran across this storefront tasting room (1133 Garden St, SLO) Very tasty. Friendly and knowledgeable staff (Steve).

It felt kind of strange as it’s been so long since we’ve accidentally found ourselves in a tasting room 🍷

I was in Los Olivos today with my daughter, future son-in-law and a friend of theirs. We didn’t have a lot of time for wine tasting, but we went to Carhartt (where I am a member) and then stopped on here.

Blair Fox has only been at this location about 3 months. In fact, last time Tamara and I were exploring Los Olivos, Crawford Family Vineyards was in this location. The wines here were quite tasty and I particularly enjoyed the Viognier.

Tamara and I drove out to Adelaida yesterday to pick up our wine club allotment. It was a beautiful day, so we had to stay and taste. They were harvesting walnuts (walnut trees pictured), which is an interesting process to observe while enjoying some excellent wines. 🍷Cheers!

So, Tamara and I went to a winery yesterday we had not previously discovered, “Still Waters Vineyards.” Beautiful grounds that include the vineyard, of course and lawn areas shaded by 125-140 year old olive trees. Not only do the make delicious wines, but they do olive oil as well.

They were setting up for a wedding when we were there. If you get out that way make sure you try the Clone 3 Cuvée. Cheers!🍷
