The weekend forecast calls for cocktails, and absolutely zero haircuts.

Come see what all the censorship is about, where we are temporarily censored, permanently fun.

Doors open. Drinks cold. Vibes questionable in the best way.

We are OPEN tonight!

And just a reminder: while the State of Nebraska believes our cocktail bar might confuse people into thinking they’re getting a haircut, we’re fighting back the American way — a lawsuit, and t-shirts. 😝 Help spread the word. 🇺🇸 LINK IN COMMENTS.

What happened to the barbershop?

We had named our bar the “Barbershop Blackstone” in honor of our dad, “Don the Barber” DiGiacomo, who cut hair in this very building for most of our childhood. But the State of Nebraska tells us that’s illegal: Even though we’re only open at night and only serve drinks, the state thinks our old name will fool you into thinking we’re going to cut your hair. (Who knows what they think you believe about pirate-themed bars?)

We’ve sued them, of course, but in the meantime, welcome to the CENSORED Shop Blackstone: A Temporarily Censored Neighborhood Bar.
