Clean Up Drink Up - Cleveland's Do Good Bar Crawl

Hi friends! I am still trying to figure out how to bring back Clean Up Drink Up this summer. With vaccination rates climbing I'm feeling better about convening a group of like minded strangers to explore new places and pick up trash together, but I am also sensitive to the needs of small businesses and don't want to add to already stressful staffing challenges by bringing a big group in who all need served quickly and separately.

With all that in mind, I'm planning to do a soft launch in August with a smaller group of seasoned Clean Up Drink Up alumni to test it out!

Where should we go first? What bars or neighborhoods do you want to check out?

I miss you all so much and can't wait to get back into the groove of Clean Up Drink Up!

We miss doing Clean Up Drink Up with you all so, so much.

The good news is that with fewer people out and about, we've noticed less trash! The bad news is that we just don't know when it will be safe to do Clean Up Drink Up, and the deeper we get into June, the more it seems like we might have to wait until 2021 to resume.

Although some people are comfortable going to bars and patios, I just can't bring myself to organize an event where I know people will be at risk. The beauty of Clean Up Drink Up is that we get people of all ages, from all over the City, to meet each other. But that's scary when those meetings could make people very, very sick.

Stay inside and keep wearing masks. When our new cases in Ohio dip into the single digits I will reconsider scheduling a few clean ups!

Order a grabber and a bucket, clean up trash around your neighborhood (send photos!) and we will keep you posted on when we can start exploring and cleaning up together!

Clean Up Drink Up 2020 is on hold for the time being. We can't wait until it's safe to hang out, grab some drinks, and make the world a cleaner and better place with you!

Another great night cleaning up the Land! Thanks to Market Garden, Forest City Brewery, and Citizen Pie for being excellent hosts. The pizza at Citizen Pie was amazing and absolutely essential. Only two crawls left this year, make sure to RSVP!
