I host a show every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month performing a mix of standards, originals, and improvisations, sometimes adding poetry, prose, emotional ranting, and odd performance art.

I'm excited to announce that will be hitting the road once again in my home state of Arizona this September! There was a time when I didn't know if we'd get a chance to perform these songs again and it feels especially gratifying to be playing them in the landscapes and towns that inspired some of this music.

We'll be embarking on this little mini tour with our 7 piece band featuring on vocals and kazoo, on clarinet, bass clarinet, and trombone, .perl on trumpet, on piano, on bass, on drums, and .jazz on guitar.

Thurs Sept 15 - CPAC Community and Performance Arts Center, Green Valley, AZ

Fri Sept 16 - ASU Kerr Cultural Center - Scottsdale, AZ

Sat Sept 17 - Yavapai College Performing Arts - Prescott, AZ

We'll keep you posted with more info as dates get closer and ticket links become available. Here are some photos from over the years:

The seated audience photo is from Priceless, sometime around 2015. The photo with the truck was taken by Robert and maybe 2011... Outdoor shots were from , and more recent photos by

Sunday Jazz Sayulita Edition, in which I leave my place before dawn, confront a prehistoric beast of indescribable magnitude, and play a new song on the beach before sprinting away to escape a torrential rain shower. Pictures of the graveyard at La Playa de Los Mu***os, as well as the Fall playlist, accessible on my Patreon page for as little as $2 here:

Playing some dinner jazz for the good people at Curio Bar in San Francisco on Saturday night, September 12, 2020. This was my first gig in over six months and my first solo gig in longer than I can remember, which doesn't say much but I'm pretty sure it's a really long time. Backing tracks made by me in Ableton Live. Check out my show and download tracks to play along to at sundayjazz.org.

Hi all! I'm going to keep hosting this show every 1st and 3rd Sunday and will be streaming it to this page. Next up I'm hosting my friend Allison Irvine, who is an incredible violinist. I'll be inviting other Bay Area musicians on the show and interviewing them and recording with them. If you'd like to be featured, or if you have any writing that you'd like to share, please hit me up!

I have created a website (sundayjazz.org) and am building a Members section with access to songs to download, other videos, and jam tracks that you can play along with (if you're into that sort of thing).

You can gain access to the members section and see an additional feed of content at the Patreon page, which you can join for as little as $2 a month. Patreon subs also get access to curated seasonal playlists! This is what I will be funding my artistic endeavors with for the time being, so if you enjoy the music, I'd encourage you to please join the Patreon at http://www.patreon.com/sundayjazz

That's all for now. I hope everyone is able to make some sense out of the chaos that surrounds us. If nothing else it sure gives me a lot to think about.
