Hey everyone, sorry for the hiatus continuing, but we feel we need to say this and let our Black q***r community know we see you and we hear you . Our team Is currently trying to find ways that we can help boost the community and give a bigger platform the Black performers and artists .
Shortcake drag show has always prided itself on a inclusive cast of performers but we do not feel that is enough anymore .
We will be working on expanding our team (we are currently only two people) working more with the Black q***r community on what we can do to make our show not only a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community but making sure NOTHING that makes our Black and POC performers uncomfortable happens or is allowed .
Racism , sexism , phobias of ANY kind have never been tolorated by us or our home at Bishops lounge , we will continue this and are open to any recommendations from our Black lgbtq+ community .
You are loved and important 💕
Below are links to ways you can help Black and Poc q***r people right now .
