Meet our professional judges: Dan Ryan and Kevin Collins
Kevin Collins: I have been in food and beverage for over 20 years. My passion is craft b**r and supporting local b**r. I am the General Manager at Barley's Kitchen + Tap and have been the b**r director for almost 10 years. Collaborating with local breweries to bring exclusive b**rs to Barley's and it's craft enthusiast! Curating a wall with 99 b**rs from all around the world has been a passion and reward alike. I enjoy craft la**rs, traditional American IPAs, Sours and imperial balanced stouts. I have enjoyed thousands of b**rs and traveled to a few hundred breweries over the years always looking for a new b**r to enjoy.
Dan Ryan has been homebrewing for 28 years, and has won awards for his Porters, Stouts, and Belgian b**rs, and had one of his b**rs "scaled up" at the legendary 75th Street Brewery. He has traveled to Plzeň, Dublin and Brussels to visit renowned breweries, but believes that the most exciting b**rs in the world are being created by homebrewers. He is a Certified B**r Judge in the B**r Judge Certification Program, and long ago lost count of the contests he has judged in. **rfest
