The Marvelous Matt Leppell Pineapple Classic Team 2015 will be running, jumping, crawling and getting dirty again this year!! Why you ask? To raise money for all those fighting cancer right now!! Please consider joining our Team or donating to our team! No donation is too small and every dollar is appreciated. To all the Marvelous Matt Leppell Big Climb Team 2016!! We are in the final count down..just 7 days away!! If you are registered you should have received an email for day of event information. Our Climb time is 1:15, We will all meet on the first floor at 11:30!! At that time I will give you your packet with your timing chip and bib number. You will then take your bib number to pickup the t-shirt that the Big Climb offers. We will all be wearing the red/white/blue t-shirts as shown in above picture. Most of you have them. For those that do not, I have ordered more that will be arriving this week. I will bring with me and you can buy from me at the Columbia Towers. I will hang up the Marvelous Matt Leppell banner, so when you arrive you can locate us better. After, everyone arrives, picks up packets and shirts, we will take team photos. This can sometimes be time consuming so that is why I would like to have everyone there by 11:30am. If you haven't raised your $100 minimum fundraising limit, try posting it on facebook daily. It really does help. After the event everyone is invited to come to the Pyramid Ale House! Its not far from the Columbia Towers. They usually have us line up at least 15-30 minutes before our climb time. Please let me know if you have any questions?? Thank you so much to all of you, It means so much to me.!!

Guess What? The Pineapple Classic is tomorrow!!! woo Hoo!! Thank you all that joined the team, I really appreciate it. Remember to bring extra clothes you will be wet at the end. Gloves are helpful too. Wear your red/white/blue tshirts, tutus, red/white/blue everything..American flag etc. socks. See you all tomorrow I will try and get there by 11am, pickup your packets, take your drivers license for the beer garden. We will take pictures after everyone gets their packets and arrives. Mahalo!!

Marvelous Matt Leppell Pineapple Classic Team!!! Are you ready to run, jump, crawl, climb, slide and get down and dirty? The day is almost here! Just 5 more days! Our run time is 12pm, I will try and get to Marymor Park no later than 11am. It's $5 Cash to park! When you arrive, check in. Wear your red/white/blue tutu's, socks, shirts, American flag bandanas, anything Red/white/blue!! We will take pictures before the run and after! Bring your license for the beer garden. The address to Marymor Park Is: 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy. N.E., Redmond, WA 98052..Remember $5 Cash to park!! unless you paid ahead. Any Questions let me know!! I hope you are all doing good on your $50 minimum fundraising amount, a couple of you have raised even more!!!

November 8th is not too far away!! Thank you to all that have signed up to run/walk with the Marvelous Matt Leppell Team. There is still time to sign up and we would love to have you join us!! The Pineapple Classic is such a fun event..5k with obstacles, Beer Garden and Luau and entertainment. All for such a great cause. It's at Marymoor Park this year, I'm excited..Matt did his very first N.W. Ford Commercial at this park!! Please join us!! The more the merrier!!!

September 15, 2015 at 11:15am I'm asking that you light a candle in memory of my son Matt. I would love if you could say a prayer and send me your photo. This will be a difficult day for our family. My son was an athlete, he was funny, handsome, loving. He was a volunteer firefighter for the East Olympia Fire Department and wrestled professionally for I.C.W. in Oregon, Canada and Washington. He drove a red Toyota pick up truck, his sister Kristen drives it now. He had a dog named Mary Jane, a cat named Duby (died in our house fire- May 29, 2012). Matt loved his family..he never left any of us without a hug, kiss or a I love you. He played acoustical guitar and sang like Johnny Cash. If he called your phone and you didn't answer..he would leave you a message in his Johnny Cash voice and sing a song while playing his guitar. Matt was left handed, played varsity baseball and varsity wrestling at Curtis High School. He graduated June 2005.
He helped watch my mom at her beginning stages of Alzheimer Disease so my dad could get away a bit. He usually called me and asked what I was doing and said he and Oma were bored could they come to my house. He bought her a step stool, put one of his cowboy hats on her and drove to my house. He loved her and she loved him. He loved Country music. Thank you for taking the time to remember my son. Love, Matt's mama
