Finished one turkey egg and started another. I like to keep a section with the spots it comes with. The one I just started has a funny wonky end.

Today I received the most unexpected and amazing gift in the mail! Thank you to Lorrie Popow for this beautiful egg. She recently asked the egg groups if anyone had a particular stand and I was happy to send one. I added a few extra things including a goose egg. Little did I know she’d send it back! 😍🥰 I will treasure this forever.

After cleaning the goose eggs, I took my Sunday Zoom to the studio and finished two PHDs (Pysanky half done). Removing the wax is my favorite part. ❤️

Some closeups of the goose-egg-emptying process:
Cleaned the outside with a Magic Eraser
Marked the center of the bottom with a pencil
Drilled a small hole, then enlarged with a diamond cone bit in my Dremel
Scrambled the guts with a skewer
Blown out using a “one-hole-egg-blower” that was adapted to connect to a fish tank air pump.
Then rinsed on the inside and the water was blown out.

Just dropped off my biggest and most detailed egg at the Newark Arts Alliance for the member exhibit.

One of my egg friends is doing a weekly challenge where she pulls some basic designs and a division out of a hat, and everyone does their own version. This is week 4. I have included some images during the wax removal which is my favorite part. ❤️
