It’s 1pm here and I’m back in bed. This morning was an emotional roller coaster I never want to be on again. Having s**t go left with your kids while you’re 2,900 miles away is the absolute worst feeling ever. I can find solace in knowing that my people have my back through and through, near or far. I appreciate them to the ends of the earth and back. Happy to report Everyone is fine. But feeling hopeless for those twenty minutes has me completely drained. I’m done adulting for the day. I try to be transparent because there’s a mom somewhere trying to navigate a similar path and I want her to know that s**t ain’t sweet all the time but it can be done. I had to find help, but help also found me. I am grateful.
