Mount Shasta summit attempt - 100% success!
Weather was clear, very cold, and windy as always.

It’s amazing what one can squeeze into 48hours…! 🗻🥾⛏️😎⚓️

In the midst of the craziness happening in the world, I wanted to wish everyone all the very best for a new and creative year 🤜🏻🎈🤛🏻

To start the year on an adventurous note, I’m sharing my Antarctica reel from the 2025/26 season.

I hope it brings a little inspiration and perspective 🐋🐧🧊⚓️

Perhaps it’s a reminder of the power of travel and exploration, storytelling, and pushing our own limits, while remaining mindful stewards of the fragile environments we move through.

Thank you

Antarctica is even more spectacular and interesting the second time around 🇦🇶

Everything is different. Weather, wild life, amazing and super interesting people, both on the crew and with the guests! 🐧🐋🧊

It’s equally difficult to explain in words what it looks and feels like, so I will try with a few photos, which also comes up short… 😎⚓️
Thank you
More coming soon…

Very excited about heading back to the Frozen Continent photo guiding with again this season!

Except this time, besides my cameras, I am bringing some fresh Zodiac training and a Zodiac Training Certificate I earned with the amazing in beautiful Alert Bay, Canada.

Hoping to do the rest of the assessments and testing while in Antarctica, so I can come home a certified PTGA guide (Polar Tourism Guide Association).

More to come… 🇦🇶🐋🐧❄️⚓️

Mt.Rainier 14,410ft - Summit Attempt:

We made it as far ~12,500ft, just above Disapointment Cleaver!

The route from Paradise to Camp Muir was through a "refreshing" whiteout, while the climb from Camp Muir to the summit started out at midnight with clear and cold conditions.
Above Disappointment Cleaver weather moved in, again. Strong winds with whiteout conditions at 10°F, with much colder wind chill.
There was fresh snowfall on the upper glaciers from the night before, so the guides could not see crevasses nor any tracks.

The only safe choice was to turn around with only ~2000ft left to go. We did the hard part though… :)

Arguing with Mother Nature is never a great idea. She will always win!

However, it was an awesome climb with really cool people. Big thanks to the guides from for keeping us safe up there, and for all the new knowledge!!

I’m beyond excited and deeply honored to be heading to Ushuaia, Argentina 🇦🇷 to join the amazing crew and team at for TWO voyages to Antarctica as their voyage photographer and photo guide! 📸❄️🐧

Huge congrats to for being named The Best Small Expedition Cruise Operator in 2024 by the Expedition Cruise Network! 🏆👏

Antarctica has always been at the top of my bucket list, and I can’t wait to set foot on the same icy continent that inspired legendary explorers like my fellow Norwegian Roald Amundsen, Scott, and of course Shackleton 🌍✨

Let the adventure begin! 🚢 🧊🐋🐧🦭👍🏻
