We are changing our FaceBook account from a business to a person soley so we can request friends and build up our fan community. The friends and family of Charlies Sports bar would like to offer our condolences to Stephen and Ciaran Bourke and their family for the passing of their Father on Sunday, November 6 after a seven month battle with lung cancer. On behalf of the Bourke and McColgan family, a donation to the St. Francis Hospice -Station Road, Raheny, Dublin 5 in memory of Patrick Bourke will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in peace.

To all in the Queens / NY area..Due to the birth of Garrett and Michele's daughter this week and due to the observed jealousy issues with their cat Yoshi, they have decided that they unfortunately have to put the cat up for adoption. I know they are devastated that they have to make this decision.. so if anyone would like to adopt a cat or if you know someone who would..Yoshi is approx 3yrs old..all shots / exams taken..declawed...they have expensive litter boxes /toys / etc.. to give to any potential adoptee..they will also provide additional monetary assistance to anyone who would adopt also. they don't want the cat to go to a shelter... Let us know ASAP.. As they have to make a decision this week...Thanks..
