Haiti is the only country where a slave's freedom was taken by force and marks the only successful slave revolt in modern times.
Kreyol Krawl is a bar crawl in celebration of Haiti's legacy, contributions and inspiration to the world. In true revolutionary spirit the Krawl is not just about celebrating Haiti but also our brothers and sisters all over the world that have and continue to fight against colonialism. UNITY!
The year's Kreoyl Krawl is a free event our focus is to support Haitian owned businesses while
sharing our culture , music and food with other neighboring nationalities who have also
been opressed by colonization.
About Kreyol Krawl
Our focus this year is unity. Krawlers from all around the world will join together at the first location (Charm Bar and Restaurant)where you will meet your team leader and head out to shift the energy and atmosphere with joy, unity and good vibes. The krawl locations are in walking distance from each other so we encourage krawlers to walk from each location and remain with the group for good vibes and safety. Each location is Haitian owned and will have food and beverages for krawlers to purchase. Let's help our local business strive by supporting them while celebrating during Haitian Heritage Month.
FYI, You do not need to be Haitian to krawl. Come through with joy, good vibes to share, and comfortable krawling attire. Bring your Haitain Flag or any countries flag you represent .
