My first time tasting the Veinte Tempranillo from Chile. It’s wonderful. Deep purple with bold flavors including plum and blackberry. It’s going to pair beautifully with the zoodles tossed with kale pesto and tomatoes, and topped with pumpkin seeds.

Had a little happy hour today with some soleil vent am Chardonnay and shrimp w/ mustard sauce, artichoke pesto on crouton, turkey pepperoni, baked clams, Brie with strawberry preserves on rice crackers and truffle potato chip with smoked salmon, creme Fraiche and dill. I love putting together plates of canapés. It’s so much fun to play with little bites and different flavors.

Let's talk about New Year's Resolutions. I'm all about being realistic. A couple of years ago I resolved to get into NYC once a month. I succeeded! Last year I resolved to be more in the moment with my children. Thanks to Covid, I had no choice but to succeed.

Fifteen years ago I resolved to eat more REAL FOOD and give up the fake junk food, and I never felt better. If you want to make a resolution this year that you can stick to, resolve to add more real food (and beverages) into your diet. Don't resolve to give anything up. Depriving ourselves never works. However, once you start adding the good stuff in, trust me, you'll crowd out the bad stuff. Reach out if you need any advice or help reaching your goals.
