Thank you to all who came together, across the Washington state community to celebrate last night! As a professional, I was invited to work this amazing event by LCLAA PNW Chapter President Indira Trejo. Muchisimas Gracias ๐๐ฝ!
This holiday pre-dates Spanish Mexico and was celebrated by indigenous tribes (Purรฉpecha) who honored their dead with ๐ skulls. Although this day is called the day of the dead, it is actually a celebration of life and death. It is meant to be a time to remember the lives of past loved ones and a way to communicate and honor them from beyond the afterlife with family gatherings that include food, music, dancing, and elaborate costumes and decoration of many colors.
Proud to serve LCLAA PNW and itโs community! Cheers ๐ป๐๐ซ๐จ๐ค๐ผ
