Please give a warm welcome to the latest addition to the onsite hold family — the mushrooms. These holds are big and incredibly versatile. Setting with them last night for the first time was a dream. Our aim here was to create a V5 boulder on our 45 degree wall with a knee bar sequence. It came together all too easily. We could easily remove a couple holds to force a harder sequence in the v7 range. This ended up as a solid V5. The crux is getting into and exiting the large 5XL mushroom feature, with a second easier crux getting into and exiting the knee bar sequence between the 5XL and 4XL feature holds in opposition. We cant wait to strip and set a compression boulder. So mau possibilities with this stellar new line from .nelson.739 and poured by . Stay tuned for the official release and a a review from . The mushrooms are an instant classic. Kudos to for being the first one to put this rig down!

The epidermal rail feature. This long rounded crimp rail plays well on all angles. Another beautiful work of art inspired by the natural folds in our skin for the epidermal line. So many ways to work this into a creative boulder on everything from slabs to steep walls if youre trying to crimp hard. This rail will make you search for the sweet spots when projecting on your favorite overhang. Lie backs, underclings, cross throughs, bump it, match it, palm it down on a slab — this rail does it all. Hats off to for another gem. We aren’t sure what he’s up to these days. I heard a rumor he was wrestling hippos in Tanzania, but the only thing i know for sure is that his shapes are here for you to enjoy! Pick up this rail and some of its brothers and sisters in the line and set something special.

This set of 3 large epidermal crimps now available! Slabs, and vertical to 30 degrees are where these holds shine. Having said that we currently are using one of these crimps on a 45 degree boulder. does it all. Another fine set indeed.
