Stud Bar was created out of necessity in 2008 when I was introduced to Crossfit. Kipping pull ups require a fixed mount pull up bar that can withstand hundreds of pounds of force as well as lateral and bi-lateral forces. Pull up bars have historically been poorly designed and built with minimal thought lent to the design. Stud Bar was the original T bracket pull up bar. We patented our bar mountin

g system which is the backbone of our reputation for being described by users as sturdy, solid and strong. Our pull up bar does not sway or bend when under heavy use. We thought of everything when creating the perfect pull up bar. Our cross bar is a custom drawn diameter that fits all hand sizes comfortably while minimizing palm wrinkles which can lead to callouses and blistering. Our proprietary powder coat blend is not too grippy which can cause hand damage and not too smooth which leads to slipping. Thank you for your product. I just installed it a couple of days ago and the quality speaks for itself. I am 62 and a complete novice. I didn’t know it would be this hard to do a pull up and I’m overwhelmed. I had my doubts about the installation when I drilled too big a hole for the first lag bolt and trying to find the center of the stud but when I completed it I hung on thinking the ceiling would collapse. I figured after numerous attempts I did a reasonably good job of installation the bar and I don’t think it went badly at all. I’m not a handy guy and if it weren’t for the basic instruction in the installation video you have; it would have been much worse.

I don’t know how I’m going to achieve this but I’m going to give this my best shot and practice daily. I have a lot of confidence in your product and wanted to let you know.

I don’t know how to provide a product review so I’m attaching the final installation in my garage. Thank you again.
