As the Skagit Valley’s original brew pub, Skagit River Brewery was established in 1995 with the core belief that everyone deserves to drink great beer. Our journey as brewers began with a focus on Yakima Valley hops and locally grown barley and wheat — for which the Skagit Valley is rightfully famous. Of course, great beer demands great food — and in response to our customers’ ongoing requests to
pair their pints with something a cut above conventional “pub grub”, we started a restaurant. This past year we added additional taps so that our guest can enjoy the best of our regional brewing scene, along with Skagit River “made in Skagit” brews which feature Skagit Valley Malting grains in every beer. And each of our beer's draw upon their own sources of inspiration to cater to seasonal and individual tastes. So…here we are some two decades later, the only establishment in the Skagit Valley that combines the best traditions of a brewery, restaurant, and now a Tap House — all in the interest of serving the important things in life: good food, good friends, and good times.
