Hello, Varsitiverse!

Brian Danner here, proud owner and operator of Varsity Sports, and I wanted to take a moment to personally reflect on this long and challenging journey.

As many of you know, we’ve encountered a few hurdles along the way—from building remediation and international shipping delays to vendor timelines and, most recently, final certifications. With over 30 years in hospitality and food service, I’ve learned a lot throughout my career, but stepping into the role of project manager for this venture brought an entirely new set of challenges. I had to learn to play at the varsity level very quickly.

The good news is this:

Our concept is ready.
Our staff is ready.
And we know you’re ready.

Now we’re simply waiting for our building to be fully ready as well.

It is incredibly important to us that when we open our doors, we do so with a space that is fully compliant, operating at its best, and ready to deliver the experience you deserve. We will continue working closely with every department and agency involved to help move this final step across the finish line as quickly as possible.

Most importantly, thank you.

Thank you for believing in us.

I can’t wait to welcome you into Varsity Sports and provide the varsity-level hospitality, food, drinks, and atmosphere we’ve been working so hard to create.

We’re disappointed to share that TONIGHT’S GRAND OPENING at 7:30 PM for Varsity Sports has been postponed due to a last-minute cancellation of our final building inspection.

We truly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as we navigate circumstances outside of our control. We’re hopeful to open tomorrow just in time for the Reds game at 6:40 PM, but stay tuned for updates!
