A great evening of connection, learning, and cocktails at Vetus! 🥃🍸

We were thrilled to host the Union County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business networking event and welcome so many amazing local women to our distillery.

They toured our production space, learned about how spirits are made, discovered a little more about the world of distilling, and then got hands-on making their own cocktails!

But the best part? The conversations, connections, and new friendships that happen when local businesswomen get together. ❤️

Thank you to the Union County Chamber of Commerce for choosing Vetus as your gathering place, and to everyone who came out and made the evening so much fun!

Myth #4: Brandy is made only from grapes. 🍇❌

Not true! Brandy can be made from many different fruits, and each one brings its own character to the spirit. 🍑🍑🍑

Peaches can bring bright, juicy sweetness. Plums can add deeper, richer fruit notes. Figs bring a warm, earthy complexity. And grapes? They have their own beautiful expression.

The fruit you start with makes a difference — and that’s what makes exploring brandies so much fun. 🥃

🍐Cranberry Pear Fall Punch- $9 >> This crisp and seasonal punch is made with vodka, pear nectar, cranberry, cinnamon, and lemon for the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It’s delish!

🍑 Peach Maple Bourbon Smash - $10 >> We combine Benchmark #8 bourbon, peach syrup, maple syrup, and lemon juice and then top it with ginger beer. It’s the quintessential goodbye summer and hello fall drink! 😋

🍌 Banana Pudding Martini (pictured) - $12 >> A rich, creamy twist on a Southern classic! Vanilla vodka, Baileys, RumChata, and 99 Bananas come together with a touch of cream for a smooth, sweet sip that tastes just like banana pudding in a glass.

💜 Blackberry Haze - $13 >> A fall twist on the classic mule, made with Vetus Distillery Vodka from right here in Monroe, NC! We mix this delicious local vodka with blackberry, lime, lemon, and cranberry, then top it with crisp ginger beer for a bright, refreshing sip with a little seasonal haze.
