The Thurgood Marshall Bar Association proudly congratulates the Honorable Juliet O. Macaulay on the confirmation of her appointment to serve as an Associate Justice of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Three!

The Honorable Macaulay has served on the Orange County Superior Court since 2022, following a distinguished career in public service that included service as Chief Administrative Law Judge for the California Department of Social Services, as well as several leadership roles with the California Board of Parole Hearings.

Her elevation to the Court of Appeal is a tremendous and well-deserved achievement, and TMBA is especially proud to celebrate this significant milestone for a respected member of our Orange County legal community.

Congratulations, Justice Macaulay! We celebrate this extraordinary achievement with you and wish you continued success as you enter this next chapter of judicial service.

We have some fantastic news: the Honorable Juliet O. Macaulay has been nominated to serve as an Associate Justice in the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division Three!

Due to this exciting update, her upcoming presentation with Judge Desirae L. Hutchison is being postponed. This event is being rescheduled to a later date, which we will announce soon. Stay tuned!

A recap from our 8th Annual Thurgood Marshall Bar Association Awards & Installation Gala on April 3, which brought together our community for an unforgettable evening of excellence, connection, and purpose.

It was an honor to celebrate this year’s distinguished honorees whose leadership and service embody the very best of TMBA, to thank our outgoing board, install our new board, and to award scholarships and stipends to outstanding law students. Together, we also EXCEEDED our fundraising goal for the night, raising $9,790 during the gala.
