🍻 Your FIRST chance to grab official Minster Oktoberfest apparel is THIS SATURDAY! 🍻
Join us at Caddtoberfest at Caddy’s from 10 AM–2 PM on Saturday, September 12th!
🎩 Das Button Haus will be set up with all things Minster Oktoberfest, including:
Limited-edition hat pins
Stickers
Other special items that may not make it to the Fest!
📍 DUTCH MILL PIN UPDATE! 📍
We’ve heard you! The last remaining Dutch Mill Pins will be available at Caddy’s on Saturday.
⚠️ Limit 2 per person — there are VERY few left!
But don’t worry… another batch of Dutch Mill Pins is coming! 🎉
We hope to have them available during the week of Oktoberfest, but these pins are coming from Europe, and customs can be a little unpredictable.📦
We’ll announce where and when the next batch will be available as soon as they arrive.
And yes — if they arrive after Oktoberfest, we’ll still sell them!

LAST NIGHT, WE CELEBRATED OUR 2026 GRAND MARSHAL!

Last night at The Wooden Shoe Inn, friends, family and members of the Oktoberfest board came together to celebrate a man who has spent more than 50 years giving back to Minster.

Congratulations once again to Tim Jay, our 2026 Minster Oktoberfest Parade Grand Marshal!

A special thank you to the Wooden Shoe for hosting a wonderful Grand Marshal Dinner and helping us celebrate Tim and his many years of service.

🍻🇩🇪 MEET YOUR 2026 MINSTER OKTOBERFEST PARADE GRAND MARSHAL — TIM JAY!

For more than 50 years, Tim Jay has been giving his time to the Minster community.

And when it comes to Oktoberfest? He’s helped make the festival what it is today.

We’re proud to announce Tim Jay as the 2026 Minster Oktoberfest Parade Grand Marshal! 👏

Tim became involved with the Jaycees in 1972 and joined the Kiwanis/Service Club in 1982. Through the years, he has also served with the Civic Association, Garden Club, St. Augustine Church, Cub Scouts and many other parts of the Minster community.

If there was a local team that needed a coach, there’s a pretty good chance Tim was there, too! He coached Little League, Prep League, Minster Swim Team, basketball, tee ball and more!

But his connection to Oktoberfest runs especially deep.

Through the years, Tim has served on the B**r Committee, as Entertainment Chairman, Member At Large, Chairman and President of Minster Oktoberfest. 🍺

Now, after spending so many years helping serve Minster and Oktoberfest from behind the scenes, Tim gets a well-deserved place at the front of the parade.

Please join us in congratulating Tim Jay, our 2026 Minster Oktoberfest Parade Grand Marshal! ❤️

📅 The 52nd Annual Minster Oktoberfest takes place October 2, 3 and 4, 2026.

🍻🇩🇪 A MINSTER OKTOBERFEST FAMILY TRADITION COMES FULL CIRCLE!

For 51 years, Minster Oktoberfest buttons have captured a little piece of the festival’s history.

Now, the 2026 button has a very special family connection.

Congratulations to Liz Boeckman, winner of the 2026 Minster Oktoberfest Button Design Contest! 🎨🏆

Liz’s connection to Oktoberfest goes WAY back. Her grandparents, Rich & Vera Boeckman, moved to Minster in 1939—and began collecting Oktoberfest buttons with the very first festival in 1975.

Today, that collection belongs to Liz’s father, Joe, who has continued adding a new button every year.

And now? Liz’s own design will become part of that family collection—and Minster Oktoberfest history. ❤️

A University of Cincinnati fashion design graduate and Senior Apparel Designer at Lane Bryant, Liz brought her creative talents home to Minster for this year’s design.

“I’m honored my design will be a part of that collection and history,” Liz said. “I’ve been to many Minster Oktoberfests with my family and can’t wait to celebrate this year’s with a sauerkraut ball and beer!”

The official 2026 Minster Oktoberfest button, featuring Boeckman’s winning design, will be available for purchase along with the yearly hat pin beginning September 4 at The Looking Glass Salon and Spa, Danae's 4th Street Salon, Friends of FJ Stallo Library-Minster, Donauer's Barber Shop, Minster Market, and The Wooden Shoe Inn.

📅 The 52nd Annual Minster Oktoberfest will take place October 2, 3, and 4, 2026.

And with more than 80,000 people expected to visit Minster, Liz’s design is about to become a whole lot more familiar! 👀

The Minster Oktoberfest Parade is looking for this year’s Grand Marshal — and we want your help!

Think of someone you grew up admiring. Someone whose quiet acts of service shaped our town. Someone who lives and breathes everything that IS Minster — our values, our spirit, our pride.

🧡 Did they go above and beyond in their volunteer work?
🧡 Have they made an impact without ever expecting recognition?
🧡 Are they a former or current resident of the Minster School District?

If so, nominate them to lead this year’s Oktoberfest Parade with the honor they deserve.
