A few years back (Xul Beer Company - Nashville ) held our favorite beer festival of all time- Summer of Stouts. It was 95 degrees, we’re drinking stouts all day- it was amazing. To pay homage to that day where awesome decisions were made, we decided to release all 8 of our barrel aged beers in a flight for our anniversary. Seriously, what could go wrong?

Happy 2nd Anniversary to us!! On top of a full line of 10% beers on draft, we’re also doing BEER FLOATS! Pick a barrel aged beer and top it off with two scoops of Zio Matto Gelato made with our Anniversary Stout! Let the celebration begin!

Releasing at noon today is our anniversary bottle! Chanclas de Abuela is a 10% barrel aged stout aged on cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and cinnamon to create a delicious Mexican chocolate dessert. This beer was aged for 18 months in a Bourbon BarrALZ Wilderness Trail Distillery barrel - this barrel was a sleeper pick with tons of vanilla and rich caramel, one of our favorite picks to date. Toasted cacao nibs and rich, roasted malts create the dark chocolate while the blend of Mexican, Madagascar, and Tahitian vanilla beans provide a floral and spicy sweetness. The blend of cinnamons rounds out the spice in the perfect pairing of barrel and beer. Limit 2 per person (except members) with only 120 bottles available!

Happy Birthday to us! We’ll have a day of celebration starting with the bottle release of our Chanclas de Abuela Mexican Chocolate Imperial Stout aged in a Bourbon BarrALZ Wilderness Trail Distillery barrel. Then, all day barrel aged beer pours including a very special made with an amazing Zio Matto Gelato gelato that was made with our anniversary stout! Then, saving the best for last, with Damien at 5pm with a special selection of rounds:

Getting ready for mayhem in the back lot with Tiger Pro Wrestling tonight and the ! Back on tap tonight is the Rust Bucket RypePA- a pale ale with 50% rye for a rich spiciness paired perfectly with hops that push a citrus, woody, and candied fruit finish. Get down to our South Main Association taproom for a night of and celebrate our with a pint! First match begins at 7, doors at 6, $15 admission.

Getting ready for the South Main Association Mixer and we’re launching three new Not Tails for the weekend! First is the Rabble Rouser- a blood orange Aperol spritz that tastes like one of our favorite prehistoric multivitamin. Next, the Limoncello Basil Drop- exactly what it says, sweet and refreshingly tart limoncello and the floral and herbal notes of basil. Lastly, the Roadside Fruit Stand- mango, , tamarind, Chamoy, and a blend of peppers (if you want a little spice). All of our Not Tails, including the Memphis Whistle Cherry and Orange Berrettas are made with our 6% Not Beer base seltzer and our house made extracts and mixers.

We have a week full of celebrations, so start making plans! New beers, slushies, Not Tails (seltzer cocktails made with our Not Beer Seltzer), and the return of a favorite. We have socials, wrestling, ci**rs, music, flights of barrel aged beers, and more- you really should get down to South Main Association in Downtown Memphis and celebrate our second anniversary with us!
