Not to be dramatic, but I’ve been waiting for this season for 5 years. When I say it like that, it makes it seem like I’ve been dreading my life for the past five years. LET’S BE CLEAR, the years have been WONDERFUL! I’ve always loved what I do and what I get to create. There can always be both/and. So here we are on the edge of a new season.

I’m not getting rid of my mom role, although it is constantly shifting. But it IS the first time in 12 years, I’m going to be working full-time. And that is exciting for me! The fact that I get a chunk of time to dive into my work EACH DAY is the biggest mind hurdle to get over. For so long I’ve been making it work IN THE MARGINS. And to have dedicated time to invest, feels like… an exhale.

Now the enneagram 3 in me just needs to remind myself to be patient with the process! I’m really thankful for the ‘waiting’ season I’ve been in. I’ve been refined, listened to God and his plan in new ways, and been reminded I can’t do it alone. Big lessons I’m grateful for. And I’m also ready to GET AFTER IT, and remind myself that it will continue to take time.

So welcome to the new season of enCourage Co.! Thank you for being here as I navigate what it looks like to start, maintain, and continue to pursue a dream of mine. Grateful for people who care enough to read this and enter into this next season with me.
