Hosting a Halloween party? Skip making individual cocktails all night and mix up a batch of this dark, fruity Black Widow Punch instead!

The best part? You can make the base ahead of time and turn it into a cocktail OR mocktail.

🖤 BLACK WIDOW PUNCH — Serves about 12
• 2 cups vodka
• 2 cups blackberry purée (I like Real Syrups, they can be found at your local liquor store or on amazon!)
• 3 cups cranberry juice
• 1 cup fresh lime juice
• ½–1 cup simple syrup, depending on how sweet you like it
• 3 cups ginger b**r or sprite to add right before serving
• Fresh blackberries & sugar rim if you want to get fancy!
• Plenty of ice

To make:
Combine the vodka, blackberry, cranberry, lime juice, and simple syrup in a large pitcher or drink dispenser. Refrigerate until party time.

Right before serving, add the ginger b**r or sprite and ice. Garnish with fresh blackberries and you can be sugar some rims if you'd like or let guests have fun doing it themselves.

MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL:
Leave the vodka out and add a little extra ginger b**r or sprite. You can even make one big alcohol-free batch and let adults add vodka to their individual glasses.

Tipsy Traveler Tip: Freeze blackberries ahead of time and use them in place of some of your ice. They'll keep your punch cold without watering it down and they look perfectly spooky floating in the pitcher!

Want to take the presentation one step further? Add a few plastic spiders around the outside of your drink dispenser or punch bowl for a creepy Black Widow theme.

Easy. Batchable. Festive. And no bartender required so you can actually enjoy your own Halloween party!

Save this one for Halloween weekend!

What a year it has been! From backyard parties and birthdays to business events, fundraisers, ribbon cuttings, and everything in between, I’m so grateful for every person who invited Tipsy Traveler to be a small part of their celebrations.

Thank you to everyone who booked an event, stopped by for a cocktail or mocktail, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or simply followed along. Your support means more than you know!

Now it’s time for Tipsy Traveler to take a little break from events, enjoy some traveling, spend time with family, and recharge for what’s ahead.

BUT… that doesn’t mean we're disappearing completely!

Keep an eye on the page because I’ll be sharing some fun holiday cocktail AND mocktail recipes you can make at home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and all those cozy gatherings in between.

Cheers to an incredible season and to all of you who made it possible! 🥂❤️

We wrapped up an incredible Tipsy Traveler season with three refreshing classics that prove you really don’t need complicated ingredients to make a great drink: a Lemonade Shake-Up and two Mules!

Lemonade Shake-Up

• 1 fresh lemon
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 cup cold water
• Ice
• 1½ oz vodka for the cocktail version or leave it out for an easy mocktail!

Squeeze the fresh lemon into a shaker, add the sugar, water, and plenty of ice. Shake it REALLY well until everything is ice cold and the sugar has dissolved. Pour it all into your glass and garnish with a fresh lemon slice.

Classic Moscow Mule

• 1½ oz vodka
• ½ oz fresh lime juice
• 4–6 oz ginger b**r
• Ice
• Fresh lime for garnish

Mexican Mule

• 1½ oz Tequila
• ½ oz fresh lime juice
• 1 slice of jalapeno
• 4–6 oz ginger b**r
• Ice
• Fresh lime for garnish

Add the Tequila, jalapeno and fresh lime juice, then Muddle. Top with ice and then ginger b**r. Give it a gentle stir and garnish with a lime wedge.

Want a Mule Mocktail? Simply skip the vodka! Fresh lime + ginger b**r still makes a crisp, flavorful drink that feels like a cocktail without the alcohol.

And that's one of the things I love most about creating drinks for events, almost any cocktail can have a mocktail counterpart, so everyone gets something more exciting than a bottle of water or soda!

We're taking a break from events for the remainder of the year, but don't go anywhere. Holiday cocktail and mocktail recipes are coming next!

It has been an AMAZING season filled with private parties, community events, celebrations, custom cocktails, mocktails, and plenty of fresh ingredients. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who invited us to be part of their special moments this year.

But we’re not quite finished yet…

We have ONE more BIG event coming up before we officially wrap up our event season and we can’t wait to share it with you!

We’ll be back with a full recap, behind-the-scenes fun, and of course… the recipes!

At this time, we are not accepting any additional events for the remainder of the year. We’re looking forward to finishing the season strong and then taking some time to travel, spend time with family, and recharge.

Thank you for an incredible year of supporting Tipsy Traveler. Stay tuned… we still have one more round to pour!

These two drinks start with the same strawberry agave syrup base, making it easy to offer your guests both a cocktail and a flavorful alcohol-free option.

We purchase our syrups from Intentional Teas LLC to ensure the freshness and quality is present in every drink!

Strawberry Agave Margarita

• 1½ oz tequila
• 2 oz limeade
• ½ oz strawberry agave syrup
• Fresh lime juice, to taste

Add everything to a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a strawberry or lime wheel. Add a salt, sugar, or Tajín rim for an extra touch!

Strawberry Limeade Mocktail

• ½ oz strawberry agave syrup
• 4 oz limeade
• Splash of lemon-lime soda

Shake the strawberry syrup and limeade with ice, pour over fresh ice, and top with your choice of bubbles. Garnish with a strawberry and lime wheel.

One ingredient can easily become two special drink options, ensuring everyone at your party has something fun and refreshing to enjoy!

I recently had the pleasure of serving at a family taco party that was won through a silent auction benefiting the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism.

I love when a celebration can bring people together while also supporting an organization that makes such a meaningful difference in our community. Thank you to the family for welcoming The Tipsy Traveler into your party and allowing me to be part of such a fun evening!

Guests enjoyed refreshing Strawberry Margaritas and alcohol-free Strawberry Limeade Mocktails—both made with delicious strawberry Agave syrup from and perfect for pairing with tacos.

🍓 Keep an eye out for my next post, where I’ll be sharing both recipes so you can recreate them at home!

One of my favorite warm-weather tricks is freezing fresh fruit. Not only does it create a delicious slushy texture, but many fruits naturally contain water and electrolytes, making them a refreshing addition to your favorite summer drinks.

Some of my go-to fruits include:
Watermelon
Strawberries
Pineapple
Mango
Peaches
Blueberries
Papaya
Dragon fruit

Simply wash, cut, and freeze your fruit. Then blend it with coconut water, lemonade, or your favorite spirit for an easy summer cocktail or mocktail.

The best part? Frozen fruit replaces ice, so your drink stays flavorful instead of getting watered down.

This summer, skip the artificial mixers and let nature do the work. Fresh ingredients really do make the best cocktails.
