Sadly, Wine Witch restaurant is closed permanently. We thank Northampton and The Pioneer Valley for the amazing reception and support we received. We want to thank our amazing crew as well. Unfortunately, financial realities have resulted in this decision. We wish you all well. We will miss you. David and Michaelangelo.

It’s a house-made local plum, almond, citrus & cinnamon syrup mixed with soda water.

We have 2 new drinks for you this week. First up,
✨Only Poe Knows✨a blend of sherry, plum, almond, dry vermouth, cava & citrus.
Next up, something inspired by the best season ever!

Druid’s Dram is a mysterious mixture of red wine, black tea, warming spices, vanilla & orange.

As usual, our Chefs are working hard to bring you the freshest, and tastiest food that they can muster. And believe me, they can muster!

We select our favorite cheeses from our friends , and the tastiest cured meats that we can find. Served up with house-made condiments, and bread from our neighbors

It’s a great choice for the beginning, middle or end of your meal here.

Though we won’t be open for dinner, you can catch us out front on Main St. for the Taste. Our talented kitchen staff will be working their magic in order to offer you:

✨Merguez sliders on zahtar Parker house rolls, house labneh, cilantro & mint.

✨King oyster mushroom yakitori with black garlic ponzu

✨Lemon herb focaccia with whipped Lardo and Calabrian chili

As usual, everything is prepared from scratch, and it’s shaping up to be a great day!

Oh hey! It’s me, Jordana. Your friendly neighborhood front of house & beverage manager, sharing with you my favorite wine of the moment, Anne Pichon Grenache noir.
✨✨✨✨
Anne Pichon’s wines are all cultivated through 100% organic practices. The grapes are grown in hand tilled soil, and also harvested by hand.
Fermentation then takes place with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks.
The wines themselves are named “Sauvage” inspired by Anne and her late husband’s respect for, and attachment to nature. 🌿🌱

This Grenache noir is rich, spicy, opulent, and pleasure-bent. Big notes of ripe blueberry, kirsch, white pepper, and Provencal herbs show up in the bouquet and on the palate. Smooth, supple, and enveloping, like a warm hug from a long lost friend. ✨✨✨✨

From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your incredible kindness, and patience as we grow as a restaurant and family.

We’re blown away by how warm of a reception we’ve received from all of our fabulous guests, and the city of Northampton. We couldn’t do what we love without you, so again thank you so very much.

We look forward to the future where we can continue to stretch creatively, and serve you food and drink that we are truly proud of.

We love our Wine Witch fam oh so much!

✨Today Emily is sharing their favorite wine of the moment, “Ginger” from Mas Théo located in France’s Rhône Valley.

This orange wine is a blend of Marsanne, Roussane, and Grenache grapes. Biodynamic and organically farmed (we love to see it),
tannic and medium bodied - plump with fruits of apricot, mango and yellow plum structured atop notes of roasted nuts. This wine is a winner, baby!
Come grab a glass on our beautiful patio (or in the best AC in town), and take a breather from the craziness of the week. You deserve it!✨✨✨✨

If you’ve dined with us before chances are that you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dan! Today he’s sharing his favorite wine offering of the moment from
Torre Dei Beati (“Tower of the Blessed”) located in Loreto Aprutino, Italy.

Their “Rosa-ae” Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is made from organically grown Montepulciano grapes. Bright, violetshaded cherry in color. Fresh and rich with flavors of strawberry, pomegranate and cherry, enriched by elegant flowers among which rose is notable.
The volume is full and well balanced between the smoothness, acidity and minerality, making for an elegant mouthfeel.

We find this wine to be unique and beautiful, and we hope that you enjoy it just as much as we do. Cheers!✨✨✨
