Fresh off winning the opening set for Hedex and crushing their Hollywood Palladium debut, we’re stoked to bring one of LA’s up and coming superstars, LMNOP to ACT1VATΞ on Sept 6th!

LMNOP is an electronic duo led by Los Angeles native Zach Schwartz and his partner LIL Z. Rooted in the city’s bass music culture, they create high-energy jump up drum and bass and deliver immersive performances that blur the line between raw rave chaos and precision sound design.

In 2025, LMNOP made history at the Hollywood Palladium, opening for UK heavyweight Hedex after winning the My Home Is The Rave DJ competition. The all-original set proved LMNOP to be more than just a rising act, establishing them as a staple presence in the evolution of drum and bass and one of the artists leading the sound in America.

With a growing international fanbase, relentless releases, and an uncompromising approach to performance, LMNOP is not just part of the movement—they are shaping the future of dance music.

Due to the horrible shooting that took place over the weekend near the venue we planned to use, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone our ACT1VATΞ event that was scheduled for this Saturday.

Even though Framed Events had absolutely nothing to do with the shooting, and it did not take place at their event, it is a little too close to home. Please visit their IG page as they have released a statement. The media jumped to conclusions and named them in this incident, and said it took place at a festival after-hours event, which is not the case. It took place at a hip-hop event that was shut down. Framed is taking the necessary steps to get the media to retract their statements.

With that said, Act1vate is a collaboration with Framed, and we feel it is in the best interest of our artists and patrons to let the area cool down. We have already confirmed all the artists from this lineup and will hold our Play Me Records takeover on Saturday, September 6th. We look forward to another amazing night of late-night DNB with you!

Reid Speed has played Timeless many times throughout our 17 years, and she always kills it. We can't wait for her to return this Saturday for a special first-time b2b set with Dip Vertigo at ACT1VATΞ

BIO

DJ, producer, label boss, paradigm shifter. With over 2 decades of experience and a lifetime of persistence, Reid Speed is a master of the mix and a legend in the North American drum & bass and underground rave scenes. She came up in competitive New York City selling records at the USA’s first all-jungle/drum & bass shop Breakbeat Science, where she was one of the first American DJs to branch out into multi-genre DJing, incorporating 2-step and speed garage into her mixes, and later breakbeats and other heavy bass music genres. She was the first female American Drum & Bass DJ to break through on a national level as both a DJ and producer, and has served as an inspiration and mentor to generations of female talent since.

Her labels, Play Me Records and Play Me Too, are stalwarts of the American Drum & Bass scene and also helped kick off the explosion of the North American heavy bass scene, having discovered or launched the careers of some of bass music’s top hitmakers like Dillon Francis, Bro Safari, Dodge & Fuski (Disciple), Eliminate, Must Die, and many more. Play Me has released over 400 artists in their 15 years of existence, and continue to usher in wave after wave of successful new talent with a focus on drum & bass, halftime, UKG, and leftfield heavy bass music.

Reid has graced the decks at countless events around the world like Electric Daisy Carnival, Hospitality on the Beach, Sun & Bass, Shambhala; has done guest mixes for BBC Radio 1, Triple J, Ram Live, Beatport, and more, released music on Prog:ram, Viper, Space Yacht, Play Me, and has rocked raves, clubs, and venues from Limelight to The End. Her music has been licensed by brands like Nike, Puma, and Lenovo and she’s curated mixes for fashion brands Skingraft and Unbeing. She’s done hundreds of DJ mixes and a number of mix series, hosts a weekly Twitch broadcast, and has even DJ’d on TV (the Jamie Kennedy Experiment). Reid Speed’s storied career has been based in constant, steady growth, and breaking barriers for women in the industry. And whether live, in the studio, or in her role as a label boss, she consistently proves that she’s a force in the industry and one of the best and most versatile DJ’s in the game.

Last but not least, literally, we are super excited to have NOVELLA making her Timeless event debut, closing out our first ACT1VATΞ, properly! Expect high energy vibes and wicked mixing from this one!

BIO

Novella is an LA-based DJ crafting high-energy sets that tell a story—one drop at a time. From the first strobe flicker to the final bassline, her sound unfolds like a telenovela: full of tension, twists, and emotions cranked to the max.

She first discovered drum and bass in 2019, deep in the UK’s underground rave scene, where sweat, history, and pummeling sub-bass rewired her ears for life. Her style is a love letter to that culture: a blend of ferocious neurofunk, roaring dancefloor and jump-up tunes, timeless anthems, and stripped-back minimal and techstep selections.

Every set is an exploration: an explosion of energy, sound, and intention, designed to summon nasty bass faces and ethereal smiles alike.
