It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. As the last sole member of Fempire, I have decided to end our show! :( I'm sad and it totally feels like I'm killing off a child. This is the first show I ever performed improv at, it's where I got a bunch of confidence and met so many amazingly talented women! I'm into improv b/c I'm an extrovert that likes collaborating with people, it's not fun for me anymore, especially to produce a show solo, cuz I want the show to POP and be amazing and it's too much for 1 person, well for this person anyways! :) I wanted to build it up again or gift it to a team that might want to keep the show going, but no bites, so I'm making the final call. At 2:45pm on November 5, 2018, Fempire fka Ladies Night fka Lady Jam is over. Thank you to the founders Diana Varco, Lara Zvirbulis, Stephanie Bentley Pollard & Carmen Shmangelica for what you put together 6 years ago and all the women who came on board since then to keep it running! It just might be one of the longest running all female shows in LA!! xoxo - Juanita Chase de Lamont
