Friends of Good Humor Comedy -- as I'm sure you assumed, our Monday show has been canceled in observance of "Shelter-in-Place" until the earliest April 20th. We will reach out to all booked comedians and reschedule as soon as we are given a timeline for reopening Mom's Bar.

If you are interested in participating in any virtual format please let me know via DM -- we've been talking with the owner about putting something together.

Good Humor: note for Comedians

Good Humor is a weekly* stand up comedy show that provides a diverse line-up of professional comedians the opportunity to perform in a supportive environment. (* 'weekly' for the most part -- some Mondays are canceled for holidays or other conflicts. See updates posted on Facebook)

We perform at Mom's Bar in West LA. It is a free show and a wonderful show for friends and fans alike -- I mean, free ice cream...(http://www.momsbar.com//)

We ask that comedians arrive at 8:30 and stay for the entirety of the show and be fully present (not on their phones or in their notebooks) for a relatively short show (70 minutes). Line-ups are purposely kept on the smaller side so that ALL COMEDIANS can be be attentive and engaged in the fun and challenging work of stand up. Please do not request a booking if you cannot stay from 8:30 until close of show, or if you do not feel you cannot 'show up' for your fellow performers.

Good Humor is a great place to work through new material, however it is not a "mic," please treat it with the same professionalism you would an audition or industry meet and greet.
